South India Structural Corporation Ltd was incorporated in the year 1966 and has done extensive jobs on Structural fabrication, Piping, Painting, Mechanical Equipment Fabrication & Erection, Allied civil works and Electrical jobs to wide range of Industries from sugar, cement, petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizers, metal and engineering industries.
The company has necessary machinery, tools and tackles, cranes, generators and testing equipments to undertake fabrication and erection jobs. It has experienced engineers on its rolls. It has executed fabrication and erection jobs for M/s. Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, M/s. Southern Iron and Steel Company Ltd, M/s. Balaji Power Corporation Ltd at Samayanallur, M/s. Samalpatti Power Corporation Ltd, Pochampalli, M/s. Madras Aluminum Company Ltd, M/s. Sterlite Industries Ltd at Tuticorin, M/s. Chettinad Cements Corporation Ltd at Puliyur and Karikali, M/s. Chettinad Lignite Tranport Services (P) Ltd at Neyveli , M/s. Larsen & Toubro Ltd etc.
Since 1999, the company has been executing construction of retail outlets for M/s. Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, M/s.Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd and M/s. IBP Co Ltd. Some of the jobs undertaken by the company are:
